Nurse murdered baby daughter
Police are not saying exactly where the baby was found
BBC NewsA mother has been convicted of killing her four-month-old daughter.
Elizabeth Bolarinwa, a 37-year-old nurse from Bermondsey, south-east London, was remanded to a high-security hospital for pre-sentence medical reports.
Jonathan Goulding QC, prosecuting, told the Old Bailey in London she had used "considerable violence" to kill her daughter Grace.
Bolarinwa left the baby in a rubbish chute after battering her to death.
Struck against surface
"Having killed her, she put her dead body in some black plastic sacks and finally put the body in a rubbish chute by her flat," said Mr Goulding.
Grace, who was found in a red bonnet, suffered three to four blows to the head.
The baby was probably "struck against a hard surface three to four times", said Mr Goulding.
Bolarinwa, who denied infanticide in November last year, allegedly told police later: "She is with God now. It doesn't matter. God gives and God takes away. I want to move on with my life and put it behind me."
