Suspended judge replaced
National Post

FREDERICTON - The New Brunswick government has appointed a replacement for a controversial judge suspended without pay for comments she made about residents of the Acadian Peninsula. Yvette Finn will sit on the provincial bench in Tracadie-Sheila, N.B. That job used to be held by Jocelyne Moreau-Berube , who caused an uproar during a sentencing hearing in Tracadie-Sheila in February, 1998. In court, she said a poll on the Acadian Peninsula would reveal more dishonest people than honest people.
