Teacher tells court 'fix' was inBy SAM PAZZANO, TORONTO SUN
A high school teacher accused of sexually assaulting two students testified a friend of one of his accusers threatened to "fix" him after he chastised her for truancy.
Paul Chambers told court yesterday a friend of the girl made the threat after he berated her for skipping classes. He said he filed a report on the threat last March.
"I told (her) she could end up working in a doughnut shop" if she didn't complete school, he said.
The teacher denied allegations he made sexual advances to two teenaged students at two schools.
Chambers, 31, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
Both girls, who did not know each other before the charges, are alleging Chambers asked them for dates and French-kissed them on school property.
The trial continues today.
