Manitoba: Arrest made after threats
National PostSAGKEENG FIRST NATION - A counsellor at a native treatment centre cut off from federal funding last week was arrested last night for allegedly making death threats against two former employees who spoke publicly about the troubled facility. RCMP arrested the woman after an e-mail was sent Sunday night warning two former staff members of the Virginia Fontaine Addictions Foundation they would be "dead meat" if they did not stop talking about the centre. The woman's name was not released.
