Stratford, Ont. -- A woman charged in the alleged abduction of her eight-year-old triplets was granted bail yesterday.

Two siblings of Carline Vandenelsen posted the $30,000 set by the court.

In addition to acting as a surety for her sister, Maureen Davidson is also letting Ms. Vandenelsen, 38, stay in her home until her next court appearance on March 19.

After bail was granted, family members smiled and hugged the sister they haven't seen for 3 months.

Conditions of bail require Ms. Vandenelsen to have no contact with her three children or their father.

She is only allowed to come into Stratford to attend court hearings.
