Police witness suicideBy ROB LAMBERTI, TORONTO SUN
A 58-year-old man who stabbed himself to death as police approached his car in a west-end subway station parking lot was apparently distraught over a domestic situation, sources say.
An autopsy determined the Toronto father of teens died of stab wounds to the chest, Special Investigations Unit spokesman Jon Ansell said yesterday.
A passerby saw the man at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday in his blue Hyundai near Old Mill station, and called police.
Officers smashed the car's windows to reach the man and take him to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
