Four teenaged girls have been arrested after another teen reported a gang of attackers had threatened her with a strip-search, then pounded on her, Toronto police said yesterday.

The victim said the assault occurred on March 25 after she left her school on Dean Park Rd. in Scarborough.

The 13-year-old said she was confronted by four girls, who threatened to strip- search her. They grabbed her wallet and kicked and punched her.

She was eventually knocked against a utility pole and fell to the ground. Two suspects were arrested a few days later. Two more were arrested Tuesday. They are charged with robbery and assault

None of the suspects, all aged 14, can be named under the Young Offenders Act.
