Two female employees at a maximum-security facility for young offenders outside Toronto have been charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation after allegedly having inappropriate relationships with several of the male residents.

Durham Regional Police said yesterday that its sexual-assault unit received information in April that a female employee at Kennedy House in Uxbridge had allegedly had a sexual relationship with a teenaged boy. The police also uncovered allegations that a second female employee had had sexual relationships with at least two male residents.
