Mom held in toddler's stabbingBy CP
VANCOUVER -- A woman from suburban Surrey faces charges of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm after her 19-month-old daughter was stabbed in the forehead on Christmas Eve.
RCMP Const. Tim Shields would not release details about the weapon.
The toddler was treated for her wounds. The provincial ministry of children and families is now involved.
The ministry is also supervising the little girl's three siblings, aged two, four and seven.
The 29-year-old mother will appear in court tomorrow.
